What is the Purpose of a Political Party?

The purpose of a State political party is to listen to Republicans and draft a popular State Platform and elect candidates to office that will implement their platform. The purpose of a County Republican Party is to listen to Republicans and draft a popular county platform and other various local platforms for local communities and elect candidates that will implement those platforms. If your party is not actively soliciting feedback from registered Republicans then it is not doing all it can to drive passion for the party.

The Republican National Committee Platform is both a platform of objectives and sets the belief structure and worldview for the party. While the belief structure and worldview at the State and County level should be the same - the objectives at the state and county level are very different from national objectives. A party that simply adopts the national platform and never adopts a state or county platform isn't doing all it can to build passion for the party.

The state and county platform define what the party stands for and what its objectives are. When a party does not adopt a platform it stands for nothing and it is hard to build passion for nothing.

Training Candidates and Economies of Scale

It is essential to emphasize the crucial role county and state parties play in supporting and electing candidates that align with their platform. To achieve this, it is imperative that they leverage their power as an organizing agent to provide adequate training and education for aspiring candidates.

The responsibility of these parties also includes facilitating the recruitment of treasurers and campaign directors for new candidates and helping them build a winning team. As an example, the party may contract an accountant to oversee the financial aspect of multiple campaigns as the treasurer, resulting in significant cost savings.

Furthermore, it is vital that the party provides candidates with the necessary resources, such as events and venues, to attract volunteers and raise seed money, allowing them to kickstart their campaigns early on. Our training programs can also assist party officers in enhancing their performance by providing proven strategies that ensure success.

It is crucial for county and state parties to understand the significance of their role in the political process and utilize their influence and resources to support and elect candidates that align with their platform.

What a Party is Not

It is essential to understand that a political party should not merely represent the will of one individual or a small group of individuals. Instead, it should serve as a platform that embodies the aspirations and vision of all registered Republicans.

It is crucial that aspiring candidates do not require any party member's approval to run for office. The presence of a single gatekeeper, who decides whether the party will support a campaign or not, undermines the very essence of democracy and fair representation.

Unfortunately, illegitimate power structures that emerge within a party can weaken its effectiveness, diminish its appeal, and discourage registered Republicans from engaging in party affairs. Therefore, it is imperative to learn effective techniques that can help navigate through these power structures and gatekeepers.

As grassroots activists and Christians, we recognize the importance of a fair and just political process that represents the voice of all Republicans. By advocating for transparency and accountability within our party, we can ensure that our values and beliefs are adequately reflected in the political landscape.

Is your Central Committee a

A Right -to-Life organization will ask every candidate their position on Abortion. Support is contingent on not supporting abortion.

A Second Amendment organization will ask every candidate their position on Gun Control. Support is contingent on not supporting Gun Control.
