We are seasoned old-school campaign strategists with hundreds of successes under our collective belts. We have run campaigns for political office, championed conservative initiatives, and have run campaigns to reform State and County Central Committees.
After the Ronald Reagan presidency - campaign philosophies and strategies changed dramatically in the United States. The Reagan Presidency succeeded against the wishes of the political elite. They saw the power of politicians actually making substantive campaign promises and following through in implementing them. The "Mandate for Leadership" was about 2,000 promises that Reagan intended to implement if elected to office.
If politicians make campaign promises they cannot be as manipulated by the special interests. This is why today's political consultants implore politicians to not talk about substantive policy and to only operate on emotion. To get the audience mad about the opposition and to feel good about themselves and you.
Consultants started practicing cult-of-personality politics. The actual substance of a campaign was replaced with the promotion of anything - no matter how absurd - that would engender emotion from the public. Rather than appealing to intellect - political consultants began appealing to the lowest common denominator. After 40 years of promoting cult-of-personality politics, most of America stands at a crossroads. Keep politics the same and expect different results, or choose the type of politics that made America Great.
Winning political races shouldn't solely be about self-promotion. It should be about moving the masses to champion real solutions to their problems. A real campaign is not just telling people what they want to hear, but educating them on why your solution is best. Angering people is easy and educating them is hard - this is why politics in America now appeals to the lowest common denominator.
Success is not allowing self-serving individuals to run roughshod over local political parties. It is not allowing and condoning unethical and immoral behavior in the operation of the party. Success for Republicans should never be defined by having your major cities and your schools run by Democrat/Liberal/Socialists. The success of the Republican party should not be defined by the redistribution of wealth through a progressive tax system. The hallmarks of a good Republican party are less violent crime, less human trafficking, fewer opioid overdose deaths, and a limited and efficient government that is not a burden to its citizens.
Not only do we need to change who we elect - but we need to focus on how the party is run. A poorly run party hurts our society. This is why we are committed to educating the public on the best practices for running a party and running a campaign. We believe that the best practices can be derived from the Bible.
